Stacking the Shelves, February 24th

Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

One of my reading goals this year is to read more non-fiction so a few of my books are in this genre.  I love unsolved mysteries so, to make sure I accomplish my goal, I grabbed three that I am sure I will enjoy.  One is a reread and the other two are new.

I've read Dead Mountain but I recently watched a horror movie (I love horror movies) based on it titled Devil's Pass, and now I want to read it again.  It is about a group of hikers that went climbing and never returned.  They were found dead but the strange circumstances and evidence did not allow for a clear cause of death.  I found it to be fascinating.  I bought a hard cover this time instead of an e-book and plan to keep it on my shelf.  The other two seem interesting and I'm looking forward to them.

I also grabbed A Treacherous Curse, which is the third book in the Veronica Speedwell mystery series.  I loved the first two books so I'm excited for this one as well.

Finally, I was given Friends and Other Liars in exchange for an honest review. It looks great so I'll get started on that soon!

Happy reading everyone!

  4. I am horrible at reading nonfiction. Absolutely horrible. I should read more of it.
